it is absolutely frowned upon by the rules of academic poetics to have a poem without a title. then, if you cannot have a title, you can call it untitled. then, if you refuse to call it untitled, the bibliographers and academicians, hungry for platonic order and library alphabetics, will call it by its first line. then there will be a big (not, pitifully little and petty, rather selfish ego) debate over whether this titled [sic, d.] actually is the first line, or whether the first line.d actually is " / " [diagonal slash] heh heh heh read it an' weep in your frying pan oh green goes the rushes oh....

or whether the title is this paragraph eh, and not "and the time changed" ho.
